MCP
Run all of doneix from your AI tools
doneix provides an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. Connect it to an MCP client such as Claude Code or Claude Desktop and manage doneix by saying things like “sort out my tasks for tonight” or “add fixing this bug as a task for tomorrow morning”.
Choose a connection profile
| Endpoint | Purpose |
|---|---|
/mcp | Compact submission profile: up to 29 selected tools; excludes agent_chat. |
/mcp/readonly | Read-only profile: up to 30 tools, read scope only. |
/mcp/full | Full catalog below. Tools are still filtered by identity and granted scopes. |
The examples below use /mcp/full. A default read/write personal token does not include delete, account-management or AI-use permissions. Grant only what you need. OAuth grants are also bound to the selected endpoint; reconnect when changing profiles.
https://api.doneix.com/mcp/fullStreamable HTTPAuthorization: Bearer dz_…1. Create a personal access token
- Sign in to the doneix web app (or the desktop app).
- In Settings → MCP, enter a name (for example “Claude Code”) and press Create token.
- The token starting with
dz_is shown only once. Copy it right away. If you lose it, delete it and create a new one.
A token is a key that can read and change the tasks in your account. Do not paste it into repositories or shared documents. You can delete unused tokens in Settings at any time and see when each was last used.
2. Connect Claude Code
One line in your terminal. Replace dz_… with the token you just created.
claude mcp add --transport http doneix https://api.doneix.com/mcp/full \
--header "Authorization: Bearer dz_…"Check the connection with claude mcp list — if doneix is listed you are done. Then just say things like “add … to doneix”.
3. Other MCP clients
Most tools that support HTTP MCP servers accept a configuration like the one below. (File locations and key names vary slightly between tools.)
{
"mcpServers": {
"doneix": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://api.doneix.com/mcp/full",
"headers": {
"Authorization": "Bearer dz_…"
}
}
}
}Clients without HTTP support can connect through a stdio↔HTTP bridge such as mcp-remote using the same URL and header.

Things to try
- “Pick three things I could do right now.” — recommends based on the current time of day and place.
- “Plan my day. I have plans this evening.” — groups tasks by time of day and suggests a new order.
- “Add reviewing this PR for tomorrow morning, P2.”
- “Switch the ‘Daily flow’ board to group by place, with projects as swimlanes.”
- “Move this card to the In progress column, before the report card.”
- “Set the radius of my ‘Home’ place to 300 m and the nearby distance to 2 km.”
- “Read all my tasks including completed ones, page by page.”
AI tools act with the permissions of the token owner. We recommend making your tool ask for confirmation before irreversible actions such as deleting.
